Man charged with indecent assault
A 42-year-old man was remanded to prison on Tuesday on an indecent assault charge.
Sheldon Forbes, of Sir Lynden Pindling Estates, is accused of molesting an eight-year-old girl on May 22.
He did not have to enter a plea because he will be tried in the Supreme Court.
Despite this, Forbes told Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes, “I’m innocent.”
The magistrate told the accused that a judge and a jury would make that determination.
Forbes returns to court on July 30 for the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment.
