28 new cases; one additional death

The Bahamas confirmed 28 additional cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday and one more death, health officials confirmed.
In a press statement sent this morning, the Ministry of Health said a 46-year-old New Providence woman died of COVID-19 on Monday.
This brings the death toll to 109.
The Ministry of Health also confirmed two additional non-COVID related deaths and one more death under investigation. There are now 15 deaths under investigation and 22 non-COVID related deaths.
Of the new cases, there are 27 on New Providence and one on Eleuthera.
There have been 5,191 confirmed cases in The Bahamas since March.
There are 3,078 recovered cases, 1,967 active cases and 106 hospitalized cases.
