Health officials yesterday reported 90 new cases of COVID-19.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 3,177. There are 79 new cases on New Providence; six on Grand Bahama; two on Eleuthera; one on Andros; and two cases with pending locations. Health officials also noted that five additional deaths are now under investigation.
There are now 17 deaths under investigation.
Officials reported 1,626 recovered cases; 1,456 active cases; 72 hospitalized cases; and 69 deaths.
There are 2,186 cases on New Providence; 607 on Grand Bahama; 104 on Abaco; 54 on Bimini; 15 on the Berry Islands; eight on Cat Island; 25 on Exuma; 18 on Inagua; 17 on Eleuthera; seven on Acklins; four on Andros; five on Crooked Island; 11 on Long Island; three on Mayaguana; and 113 cases with pending locations.
To date, 16,386 tests were completed.
