A 91-year-old man, who was COVID-19 positive, died in hospital this morning, health officials have confirmed.
This is The Bahamas’ sixth COVID-19 related death.
There have been 33 confirmed cases of the virus in the country – 27 on New Providence, five on Grand Bahama and one on Bimini.

Dr. Sands provided the update before the Ministry of Health announced four additional cases of COVID-19.
