Two Abaco residents accused of gun and drug possession were refused bail yesterday.
Charles Bodie Jr., 38, of Marsh Harbour, and Carlos Alvarez, 27, of Dundas Town, faced charges of drug possession with intent to supply, possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of ammunition with intent to supply when they appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
Prosecutors allege that they were found with 3.5 ounces of marijuana that they intended to supply on September 15. On the same date, they were allegedly found with a black Remington 12-gauge shotgun and 28 rounds of 12-gauge ammunition.
They pleaded not guilty to the charges and return to court in November for trial.
