Armed robbery case delayed

An ongoing murder trial has delayed the start of an armed robbery case in the Supreme Court.

Franklyn Bullard’s trial for the March 10, 2017 armed robbery of two security officers at the C.V. Bethel High School was supposed to start before Justice Vera Watkins.

Prosecutor T’shura Ambrose requested an adjournment as she was standing in for Abigail Farrington, who is on sick leave.

However, the court was unable to proceed with the matter as it is currently dealing with a murder, attempted murder and armed robbery trial.

Watkins adjourned the matter to November 12 for a fixture hearing.
