Prosecutors have discontinued an armed robbery case against Devon Laing.
He was accused of the armed robbery of Tots R Us on December 18, 2020.
Prosecutors alleged that Laing and another man robbed the business of $178.79 and robbed two customers of their cell phones.
A jury was empanelled to hear the case on Monday. When they returned yesterday for the trial to commence before Justice Neil Brathwaite, the prosecutor, Janet Munnings presented a nolle prosequi.
