The bodies of two women were found in separate incidents over the weekend and police say foul play is suspected in both incidents.
The first body was found on Eleuthera on Saturday. Police were called to a beach in Lower Bogue around noon where the body of a woman was found on the shoreline.
The woman was in an unresponsive state and the local nurse was called, police said.
Following an examination, the victim was pronounced dead.
In the second incident, police on New Providence were directed to an abandoned building on Dowdeswell Street around 6 a.m. When the officers arrived at the building, police smelled “a foul odor” and began to search the area. The officers then discovered the decomposing body of a woman in a generator room.
As noted, police suspect foul play in both incidents.
