A few weeks ago, Bahamas Power and Light (BPL) trenched the bottom of Village Road on Shirley Street and didn’t bother to reinstate the road.
Today, the area is a mess as recent heavy rain has further eroded the deep potholes, forcing vehicles to come to a virtual standstill at the foot of this busy intersection.
Will BPL be paying for any damage to these vehicles? Will they be held responsible for any accident that may occur, especially at night as there are no hazard warning signs or cones?
How much more of BPL’s carelessness do we have to endure?
