As the countdown begins to next week’s P1 AquaX Bahamas World Championship at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, a partnership agreement has been announced with Commonwealth Brewery Limited (CBL). The agreement will see Stolichnaya Vodka (Stoli) and Kalik Light Beer receive a range of benefits including exclusive on-site pouring rights for CBL products over the three-day personal watercraft racing event. The championship is set for November 8-10 in Nassau Harbour.
Bahamian-based CBL has an impressive product portfolio of beers, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages that includes both local and international brands.
Powerboat P1 Management Ltd. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Azam Rangoonwala said: “Partnerships are at the heart of our business strategy and it is very rewarding to welcome high-profile, quality brands such as Stoli and Kalik Light as official partners for our world championship event. We are working together to meet CBL’s business objectives and know that their products will be enjoyed by everyone at the event.”
Stoli and Kalik will benefit from a range of partnership benefits that, in addition to exclusive pouring rights, will include on-site signage, presence in the event brochure and on the P1 AquaX website and commercial spots and other branding in the event television broadcast in The Bahamas on Sportsmax TV. CBL will also be promoting the AquaX Bahamas World Championship locally both on-premise and off-premise to encourage Bahamian fans to engage with the event.
Stoli Brand Representative Kristen Duncombe said: “AquaX is a perfect partnership for Stoli as it embodies the bold, energetic and daring nature of the brand, and we look forward to continuing to foster this relationship here in The Bahamas.”
Waylon McHardy, Kalik Brand Manager, commented: “We are happy to partner with the AquaX Bahamas World Championship to allow us to not only place our beer in the hands of our great people, but also showcase our world-class light beer to a global audience.”
