Dr. Patrick Roberts dies
Dr. Patrick D. Roberts died at Doctors Hospital on Saturday morning, his family said.
He was 78.
Dr. Roberts was a celebrated Bahamian and a pioneer in the fields of pediatrics, sickle cell anemia and asthma.
A consultant in sports development, Dr. Roberts pioneered the Anti-Doping Protocols, attended many Olympics Games as the official doctor for The Bahamas and was the national representative for the World Anti-Doping Agency.
He is survived by his wife Jodell and his daughters Raine and Patricia.
