A homeless man who admitted to touching a woman’s breast without her permission was yesterday jailed for six months.
Wilton Colebrook, 42, pleaded guilty to the indecent assault charge at his arraignment before Acting Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
The court heard that the 28-year-old victim was at work in the Carmichael Road area when a stranger grabbed her from behind and touched her breast.
Colebrook admitted to the unwelcome touch, but claimed that he and the woman were friendly.
The prosecutor, Sergeant Lincoln McKenzie, said that Colebrook had a long history of stealing convictions since 2010, but this was his first indecent assault case.
