Jury selected in unlawful sexual intercourse case

Lawyers in Colton Albury’s unlawful sexual intercourse trial yesterday selected nine jurors to decide his fate.

The jury is set to hear opening arguments on June 27.

Prosecutors allege that Albury, then 26, had unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl back in 2015.

The alleged victim is now 20 years old.

Albury has denied the accusation at his trial before Senior Justice Bernard Turner.

He is defended by Miranda Adderley and Erica Ingraham is the prosecutor.
