After spending the night in prison, businessman Rudolph King was yesterday freed on $9,500 bail.
King, 51, of London Avenue, was denied bail on Monday after he was charged with defrauding the General Post Office bank of $632,416 during a three-year period.
Justice Gregory Hilton approved King’s pre-trial release.
Prosecutors allege that between 2012 and 2015, King defrauded the bank of the cash and laundered the money to conceal the proceeds of crime.
Damian Gomez, QC, represents King along with Monique Gomez and Leon Bethell.
