A man accused of an acid attack on a woman at a bus stop is still waiting to be arraigned.
Christopher Rahming, 41, of Tall Pines, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt yesterday to see if he was mentally fit to plead to a charge of use of deadly means of harm.
He was remanded to prison last month for a psychiatric evaluation. According to the report presented to the court, Rahming is still not fit to plead. Ferguson-Pratt adjourned the matter to January 21 for possible arraignment.
Prosecutors say that Rahming caused dangerous harm to Appolonia Lightfoot on November 23 by using a corrosive substance.
