A 31-year-old man accused of sexually molesting a minor was denied bail on Tuesday.
Leslie Petit-Frere, of Firetrail Road, faced three counts of unlawful sexual intercourse in relation to alleged couplings that occurred between May 1, 2014 and July 10, 2018.
The alleged victim was 11 when prosecutors say the abuse began in 2014 and 15 when it allegedly ended.
Since the matters will be tried in the Supreme Court, Petit-Frere was not required to enter pleas to the charges at his initial appearance before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
He returns to court on June 16 when the matter will be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court for trial.
