Man accused of murdering Omar Davis Jr. denied bail

The man accused of killing Omar Davis Jr. and discarding his body was denied bail yesterday.
Normand Toussaint, 21, of Orchid Lane, is accused of killing his 20-year-old friend at his New Providence home.
After the murder, Toussaint allegedly put Davis’ body in bags, which he put in the trunk of Davis’ car.
The vehicle was abandoned in bushes near the Caribbean Liquor Store on East Avenue, where Toussaint worked.
Davis’ family reported him missing after he failed to return home. His decomposing body was found in the car on August 16, 2022.
Toussaint, who does not have Bahamian citizenship, represented himself at his bail hearing before Justice Gregory Hilton.
Audrey Bullard-Bonamy was the prosecutor.
