A man accused of raping a woman this month has been denied bail.
Prosecutors say Kevin Carey Cooper, 47, had sex with a 41-year-old woman without her consent on November 17.
Cooper was not required to enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Magistrate Kendra Kelly yesterday.
He returns to court next year to receive a voluntary bill of indictment.
