A man yesterday faced multiple charges in connection to a shooting that left a businessman injured.
Alexander Pierre Jr., 29, also known as Dolee, of Key West Street, is accused of the January 23 attempted murder of Van Johnson during an armed robbery at Watling Street, off Andros Avenue.
Prosecutors say that Pierre, while concerned with another, robbed Johnson of a bag, valued at $80; a MacBook, valued at $800; his passport, valued at $50; and $5,250 in cash.
D’shantae Munroe, 20, is accused of conspiring with Pierre and another to rob Johnson.
Pierre, along with Dave Miller Jr., also known as DJ, and Deonta Dawkins, 20, of Haven Road, was charged with dishonestly receiving the items taken during the armed robbery.
The accused were not required to enter pleas to the charges when they appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
They were remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services and return to court on March 27 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment.
