A man was charged yesterday with scalding his wife with hot fat during a domestic dispute.
Ricardo Cartwright, 45, of Johnson Terrace, faced court two days after he turned himself in to the Central Detective Unit.
Cartwright denied a charge of causing grievous bodily harm when he appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes yesterday.
Police had been seeking Cartwright since he allegedly burned his wife Sanovia Johnson-Cartwright with cooking oil on January 19.
Cartwright was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services but returns to court today at the request of his lawyer Bjorn Ferguson.
