Prosecutors on Tuesday charged a 30-year-old Nassau Village resident who they say is responsible for the January 17 murder of Dominique Berry.
Berry was shot dead on Gibbs Lane, off Infant View Road, after another car pulled across his car and blocked his path.
Billy Martin made his initial court appearance before Magistrate Shaka Serville.
He was not required to enter a plea to the charge and was denied bail.
Martin is next scheduled to appear in court on April 24 when it is expected that he will receive a voluntary bill of indictment.
