A man made his first court appearance in connection to the murder of Roderick Taylor yesterday.
Jean Joseph, 38, of Ross Corner, is accused of fatally stabbing Taylor on February 15.
Joseph, who is nicknamed Zoe, was not asked to enter a plea when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
He was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services and advised of his right to seek bail.
Joseph returns to court on April 28.
At that time, it is expected his case will be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court by a voluntary bill of indictment.
