A man accused of murdering a man whose bullet-riddled body was found in bushes off Scott Street has been charged.
Richard McNeil, 27, of Dorsette Alley, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt charged with the July 6 murder of 36-year-old Don “Suggie” Rahming.
Police said residents in the Bains and Grants Town community heard gunshots in the area around 10 p.m. However, Rahming’s body wasn’t discovered until 6 a.m. the following morning.
Residents walking through bushes found him with gunshot wounds to the head.
McNeil did not enter a plea to the murder charge at his court appearance.
He’s been denied bail and returns to court on October 14, to receive a voluntary bill of indictment.
