A 24-year-old man accused of murder and attempted murder has been denied bail.
Lorenzo Wilson, 24, of St. James Road, appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes charged with the April 7 murder of Deano “Twin” Gordon at Hampton Street.
Wilson is also accused of an attempted murder charge after Gordon’s killers allegedly shot at Superintendent Johnson as they fled.
Wilson did not have to enter pleas to the charges. He spoke only to confirm his address and date of birth.
He returns to court on October 20 when prosecutors are expected to fast-track the case to the Supreme Court.
