A 30-year-old man accused of the attempted murder of his former girlfriend was denied bail yesterday.
Prosecutors allege that Stephan Oliver, 30, of New Hope Gardens, stabbed Phillipa Farrington, 20, multiple times at her home on July 17.
Oliver did not have a lawyer when he made his first court appearance before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
He did not have to enter a plea. He returns to court on November 4 and will remain in prison until his trial, unless a Supreme Court judge releases him on bail.
