Police said a man died in a car crash on Exuma on Sunday, February 21.
Shortly before 10 p.m., a caller alerted police at the George Town Police Station of a traffic accident in the settlement of Hermitage, police said. When officers arrived, they met a damaged Toyota Passo. Upon closer inspection, the unresponsive body of a man was found inside the car. A local doctor pronounced the man dead. Investigations are ongoing, police said.
Police only reported the incident on Saturday, February 27.
