Three men accused of an armed robbery of a Bahamas Wholesale Agency employee were yesterday refused bail.
Prosecutors allege that Remardo Braynen, 24, of Sandliands Village Road; Lashad Knowles, 24, of Elizabeth Estates; and Willis Hanna, 35, of Hospital Lane, appeared before Magistrate Derence Rolle-Davis charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Prosecutors allege that the men, while concerned together, on December 5, robbed Rashad Seymour of a Mitsubishi truck, valued at $57,300, that contained a pallet of 34 cases of Aspen cigarettes, valued at $64,987.11, and a pallet of grocery, valued at $6,412.
The men were also charged with conspiring to commit the crime on August 29.
They were not required to enter pleas to the charges.
