Two men were charged after police allegedly found them with eight pounds of cocaine.
Kemal Daley, 36, and Dave Daley, denied the charge of possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply when they appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
Officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit seized the cocaine at Parkgate Road on August 27.
Due to their not guilty pleas, Ferguson-Pratt remanded the men to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
Their trial date is tentatively set for September 30. They will remain in custody until then, if their lawyers Ian Cargill and Jomo Campbell don’t get them bail in the Supreme Court.
