Mrs. Maxine Sylvia Mitchell-Taylor

Funeral Service for Mrs. Maxine Sylvia Mitchell-Taylor, age 90 years, a resident of Millennium Gardens, will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday May 26th, 2020, at the gravesite, St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church Cemetery, Virginia Street. Officiating will be Rev’d. Fr. Dwight Bowe.

Due to the Government’s Orders and related restrictions placed on Funeral Attendance as a result of the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the family will maintain the Governments Regulations of Ten Persons attending  any gathering, and  the family apologize for any inconvenience caused.

She is survived by her: Grandson: Anthony Taylor; Great Granddaughter: Anthonique Taylor; Adopted Daughter: Gloria Thompson (Thaddeus); Sisters: Ona Bailey, Lelia Green, and adopted sister Shirley Rodgers; Adopted Grandchildren: Vito (Kristi), Richard (Shonnel), Donald, Taryll (Rita), Theo, Jermeka McBride, Felecia Heild, Abagail Williams (Kenneth) and Cordero McBride; Adopted Great-Grandchildren: G’Niyah Saunders, Lavon Heild, and all of Gloria Thompson Grandchildren; Sisters-in-law: Leona Mitchell and Brenda Mitchell; Nieces: Gigi, Ronda, Corey, Erin, Charis, Zonia, Anya, Genair, Denika, Sheila, Florinda, Ellareese, Cora and Michelle Nephews: Dalton, Daryn, Jonathan, Giles, Brandon, Lenard “LJ” and Deon; Godchildren: Irma Davis and Andrew Thompson; Caretaker: Giovanni Saunders; Devoted Neighbors: Alice and Karen Mortimer and Family, Keithra, Iking and Keith Stubbs, Hyacinth Pratt; Family and Friends including: Betty Johnson, Julia Outten, Merill Thompson, Blanche Neely, Kathleen Demeritte, Sandra Bullard, Jackie Thompson, the late Shirley Wilkinson and Family, the late Charles Scott (Mae) and Family, The Symonette Family, The Rodgers Family, Rosalie Minnis and Family, The Management and Staff of Callenders & Co.,The Entire Community of South Street and Millennium Gardens, and many more too numerous to mention.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd, Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads, on Monday from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
