Funeral Service for Ms. Jennie Iris Johnson, age 69 years, a resident of Doubloon Drive, Carmichael Road, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday January 11th, 2020, at Golden Gates Native Baptist Church, Lobster Avenue, Golden Gates I. Officiating will be Revd. Alonzo Hinsey, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in the Southern Cemetery, Cowpen and Spikenard Roads. She is survived by her Sister: Mary Armstrong (Irving White); one brother-in-law: Julius Chisolm; seven nieces: Mordell ‘Donna’ Bethel, Nichelle Bethel (Philip), Lisa Chisolm, Gia Chisolm, Dr. Terlika Chisolm-Smith (Ira), Sandra Johnson (predeceased), Michelle Johnson and Theresa Armstrong; two nephews: Johnny Johnson (Joyce) & Javonne Chisolm (Geletha); One Adoptive Nephew: Donald Forbes; Seven grandnieces: Jasmine Bethel, Shiloh Smith, Marie Lewis, Jania Warwick, Diamond Armstrong, Markaya Wright & Lakesha Johnson. nine grandnephews: Kiko Bethel (Victoria), Rudi Bethel (Keva), Ryan Bethel, Jayden Bethel, Joshua Chisolm, Chase Smith, Timothy Lewis, Kristoff Thompson, Quinton & Johnny Johnson III (predeceased); Nine great grandnieces: Gerald Gordon, Christopher, Harlie, Justice & Johnnie Johnson, Joshua & Jacob Myers; Nine great grandnephews: Kyshonna, Anaya, Zara, Zoe, Lynnia & Mataya Bethel, Kaliyah Gordon, Dahmani McBride & Donisha Forbes; Other relatives and friends including: Orville Mott, Debbie Flowers & family, Silbert Evans, Kenatha Huyler, Lashonna Dean and Ingrid Dean and family, Jestina Kerr & Family, Veronica Minnis, Shirlene O’Brian-Rolle, Bridgette Rahming, Christa Evans, the staff and patients of the Kidney Center, Golden Gates Native Church Family, the staff of A & A Comfort Care Home and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd, Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads, on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m., until service time.
