Funeral service for the late Nigel Wilt Young Sr. age 53 years of Cordia Street Pinewood Gardens will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady’s Catholic Church, Young Street Officiating will be Father Johnathon A. Duke assisted by Deacon Maxwell Johnson other ministers of religion. Interment will follow in Lakeview Gardens and Mausoleums, John F. Kennedy Drive and Gladstone Road Pre-deceased by his Mother: Elizabeth “Liz” Young and Brother: Nino Young. He left fond memories and is survived by his Devoted wife of twenty-nine (29) years: Christine Young; Two daughters: Kenya & Kristian Young; One son: Marine Seaman Nigel Young Jr.; Father & Stepmother: Frank & Margaret Young; Brother: Claude Young; Sister: Keya Young; Brothers-in-law: Andrew, Anthony & Kevin (Sharon) Pennerman; Sisters-in-law: Angela Gaitor, Eleanor Pennerman & Eloise (Ellie Sr.) Petty; Uncles: Washington Wallace, Percy, John, Roland & Sydney Young and Nathaniel Wallace; Aunts: Sylvia, Prescola, Agatha & Ethlyn Wallace, Barbara Rolle, Lillian, Marina, Sheryl and Carol, Alma Young, Nola Brown, Helena Munroe and Loretta McKenzie; Nieces: Tayla Deveaux, Shornell Robinson, Shakera, Da’Shante & Dymond Longley, Chloe & Caliyah Young Antia Jennings, Lashanda Longley, Lakeisha Edgecombe, Aleacher & Alliyah Petty; Nephews: Jareco Williams, Kellano and Keyano Riley, Jason Edgecombe, Denver & Dario Gaitor, & Ellie Petty Jr.; A host of other relatives & friends including: Kevin Rolle, Sean Lightbourne, Jeffrey Young, Faron & Christopher & Marco Wallace, Godfrey & Phillip Cooper, Ellie & Ira, Bob Curry, Godfrey Brown, Dennis & Sabrina Smith, Pia Rolle, Yasmin Orlando, The Cordia & Brougham Street families, The Royal Bahamas Defense Force, The Hilton Hotel Viewing will be held in the Perpetual Suite at Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Soldier Roads on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
