Scentpression acquires Canadian company

Bahamian Businessman Damalus Curry’s company Scentpression has closed a deal to acquire Canada’s leading scent branding and marketing company ScentTech Aromatics, positioning him as a global leader in scent marketing.

Curry, who is president and CEO of Scentpression, said in a press release on the acquisition, that this move is a long-term investment in his scent marketing business and a bid to gain a larger share of the market.

The amount of the purchase was not revealed.

According to the release, Scentpression uses scent to help clients achieve sales, customer delight and branding goals.

Curry has now also taken on ScentTech Aromatics’ employees.

“With ScentTech Aromatic being a major player in scent marketing solutions with operations throughout Canada, the Caribbean and the United States, this deal will give Scentpression an even bigger share of the scent market,” the release said.

“The deal is not just great news for ScentTech and Scentpression, it is also great news for their customers.”

Curry said more investment is coming.

Scentpression is based in West Palm Beach but also has offices in The Bahamas.

“For over five years, Scentpression has invested in the right people, customer service and cutting-edge technologies to continually provide comprehensive best-in-class scent marketing solutions for our customers,” said Curry.

“The ScentTech acquisition will further extend our position as the global market leader in this exciting industry and will make Scentpression faster, stronger and more responsive in order to better support our clients all over the world.

“By combining ScentTech product offerings and years of industry expertise with the technology, reach and resources of Scentpression we will further expand our service footprint and accelerate our growth.”
