STEMM education expert teams up with international business and entrepreneurship leader to host engagement for educators

Dr. Patrice J. Pinder, a STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medi-Health) education expert has teamed up with Dr. Adeleke Oladapo Banwo, an international business and entrepreneurship for a global virtual engagement for educators designed to prioritize STEMM, entrepreneurship, and business education in the 21st century.
The free March 23 virtual event will be held under the theme “2023: A New Year, New Exposure, New Knowledge, and New Perspectives” and will be centered on the topic: “Encouraging Your Students to Pursue Exciting Careers in Business, Entrepreneurship. And STEMM: Thinking Beyond Your Local Borders.”
The event is geared to expose upper primary, secondary and college level teachers and instructors to the various careers and opportunities offered in the fields of business, entrepreneurship, and STEMM.
Pinder and Banwo said it is their hope that through their webinar session, educators will be made more aware of the exciting career choices in the fields. And that they would take the details shared at the event into their classrooms [and] in turn, share with their students.
Attendees they say will also have a chance to share their ideas, ask questions and benefit from the cross-section of participants from different countries with diverse perspectives, thoughts, and opinions.
Pinder and Banwo said they encourage open and fruitful dialogue from participants.
