Teens charged with causing dangerous harm after school fight

Two teenagers were remanded into custody this week in connection with a school fight that sent a 14-year-old student of L.W. Young Junior High School to hospital.
Police charged a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old with causing dangerous harm to the student on May 10.
The defendants reportedly came to the school to meet another student when a fight broke out and rocks and bottles were thrown.
The injured student is reportedly in serious condition in hospital.
The teenagers were not required to enter pleas to the charge when they appeared before Magistrate Kara Turnquest-Deveaux and were remanded to the Simpson Penn School for Boys until July 28.
