There’s no doubt about it, whatsoever; when you discover something new for the first time it is indeed very exciting. I remember very well that when I first made contact with Earl Nightingale’s organization The Nightingale – Conant Corporation, they wanted me to come to Chicago to meet with them, so I flew to Chicago and was met at O’Hare Airport by Ron Davis the vice president of the international division of the Nightingale-Conant Corporation.
He drove me to my hotel, gave me a briefcase full of Earl Nightingale’s cassette taped messages and a cassette tape recorder. He said to me “Listen to as much of these cassettes as you can, and I’ll see you for breakfast at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning.” I must admit to you my valued readers that I stayed up until about 2 a.m. in the morning just listening to Earl’s motivational messages in his “Lead The Field” series, and I can tell you, that I got more and more excited as I discovered for the first time in my life, that you could actually take control of your life and make what you wanted to happen, actually become reality. Yes indeed, there’s no doubt about it whatsoever, as today’s title puts it that’s when I got extremely excited indeed – yes, I did.
