: an important change that happens when the usual way of thinking about or doing something is replaced by a new and different way.
In many respects, The Bahamas is in crisis mode. We all can see where we are, but few seem willing or able to determine how we got here, and more importantly, how we can rise to higher heights. The answer may be in changing the way we look at things.
Guardian Radio’s new midmorning show “The Paradigm Shift” will tackle the hard issues facing The Bahamas from a point of view of honest examination and exploration of solutions, with a mission to provide the inspiration needed to enact those solutions and change our collective mindset. At the helm of the show is Michelle Malcolm, a veteran journalist who brings over 30 years of experience in broadcast media and public affairs. During the span of her incredible career, she has served as a news anchor and reporter, television talk show host, writer, and producer, and has interviewed countless celebrities, dignitaries, and ordinary people.
Each weekday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, “The Paradigm Shift” will offer meaningful, uplifting dialogue to build a better Bahamas, and in doing so will challenge the status quo, with the goal of shifting the national perspective along the way, one conversation at a time. The show will not be political in nature, nor will it be about tearing down the government, opposition, church, youth, civil service, community or individual. Instead, “The Paradigm Shift” will serve as a building block to national development.
“The Paradigm Shift” on Guardian Radio 96.9 FM from 10 am – Noon weekdays.
